With sheep in the paddock and free-range hens, Farleigh Wood has plenty of space for children to let off steam without ruining the peace for their parents! There's a wealth of restaurants and pubs to suit every taste with beautiful walks to work up an appetite for. If you are more energetic, the Wiltshire cycleway runs directly past Farleigh Wood.
Situated just off the A36 we are ideal for exploring the West Country and are just 7 miles from the Roman city of Bath.

BATH SPA: Thermae Bath Spa Enjoy Britain's only natural thermal waters as the Celts and Romans did over 2000 years ago.
CAR RENTAL: Tiger Car Rental provides low cost car hire in thousands of locations throughout Europe and Worldwide
BOAT HIRE: Sally Boats at Bradford-on-Avon have boat trips along the Kennet and Avon canal. The Barbara McClellan at Bradford-on-Avon or the Jubilee from Dundas.
WALKING: Why not stroll through our private 80 acre woodland or you may like to walk along Tellisford lane to the bridge to spot trout and go on to Rode.
CYCLING: The Wiltshire Cycleway runs past our driveway, or you may hire a bicycle from Bradford-on-Avon by the Kennet and Avon canal and cycle to Avoncliffe and stop for a drink at the C.16th Cross Guns pub. Over the aqueduct built by John Rennie dated 1797, go on to the Inn at Freshford where there is folk and Irish music most Sunday evenings.
HORSE RIDING: Wellow Trekking Centre takes rides through the village and more - also has such as off-road karting and quad bikes.
SWIMMING: Farleigh Swimming Club is open during the summer months most days where you can swim up the River Frome and sun-bathe in the field. For the less adventurous, Bradford-on-Avon has a public baths with small and Olympic size pools.
BALLOON FLIGHTS: Champagne Balloon Flights leave early morning or evening from the Royal Crescent in Bath.
